Jericho Rosales on the possibility of finding love again in 2024
Is Jericho Rosales ready for romance this year?
In a new interview with entertainment reporter MJ Felipe, the actor was asked whether finding new love is part of his 2024. To which, he gave a straightforward answer: "No."
"It's too early for that," he said.
This comes a few days after showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz claimed in his vlog that Jericho is courting Kathryn Bernardo, citing an anonymous source from the actress' camp. According to him, the insider also said that Alden Richards is trying to win her heart.
Romance rumors between Jericho and Kathryn started early this year, after they were spotted on a late night jog. The latter talked about the sighting in a February interview with ABS-CBN News, saying that she was also with their common friend John Manalo earlier that day.
During her contract renewal with ABS-CBN in the same month, Kathryn said she's hoping to work with Jericho in the future. “He’s such a nice guy, sobrang bait niya. Ayaw mo bang makatrabaho 'yung ganun? So let’s just see.”
The two have since been spotted together at the gender reveal party of Maja Salvador and Rambo Nunez's first child as well as talent manager Mr. M's birthday party. Jericho also attended Kathryn's 28th birthday celebration in El Nido, Palawan.
Jericho was previously married to Kim Jones. The former couple's godfather Ricco Ocampo revealed in January that they have been separated since 2019—four years after their wedding. He stressed that the split "was a mutual decision" and that it was "dealt with grace and maturity."
Kathryn, meanwhile, was previously with reel and real-life partner Daniel Padilla. They announced their breakup in November 2023.
