Nadine Lustre, Christophe Bariou open up about their relationship: ‘We’re both good influence with each other’
Nadine Lustre and her boyfriend Christophe Bariou have shared that the key to their healthy relationship is their similarities in interests and values.
The award-winning actress and her businessman beau publicly talked about their romance for the very first time during the Vogue Philippines anniversary gala on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
In their interview on the sidelines with ABS-CBN reporter MJ Felipe, the two were asked how they positively affect each other, not just as partners but also as individuals.
“I guess we both complement each other and like enhance each other, and that’s what is really cool,” said Christophe. “I think that’s the thing that matters the most in the relationship, it’s we’re both I think way better persons when we’re together,” he added.
Christopher also mentioned how she’s proud of Nadine for her achievements in her career, and how he tries to “help her the best [way he] can.”
Nadine seconded, “Yeah, we both help each other out, we’re kind of good influence with each other.”
“We’re definitely in the place where have super aligned projects and values,” Christophe added, noting that they are also working “on a lot of stuff” together as well.
The couple was also asked about their plans for marriage, to which they both responded that they are not really rushing things.
“I think we’re super aligned to where what’s going for in the relationship, we both really don’t want to make plans or be strict or be in the box,” Christophe said, with Nadine agreeing, “We're not rushing.”
“In my experience [and] culture, I don’t really want to set dates or set anything ahead so we just try to live as good as we can everyday,” he added.
As we all know, "President Nadine" has been bagging awards and endorsements, and thriving in her career both in film and music. With these wins, Nadine stressed how she’s “really good place right now.”
“Same with what Chris said earlier, I’m not really planning anything, I'm just kind of letting the universe give me whatever it should be giving to me,” the Deleter star said. “So, I'm not really expecting anything, I'm just happy where I am.”
“I think part of the good energy that comes into my life is because of that, maybe. I’m just very positive right now,” she added.
Nadine went “Instagram official” with Christopher in January 2022, months after they sparked dating rumors in August 2021.
