'Ang puso ko!': Jolina Magdangal and other celebrities react to ‘Queen of Tears’ finale

The final two episodes of the hit Korean drama Queen of Tears were aired over the weekend on April 28 and 29, and stars couldn't help but share their feelings, posting their reactions online.
Jolina Magdangal-Escueta on her Instagram account shared a screenshot from the 16th episode with the caption, “Ang puso ko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Sherilyn Tan replied to her post saying, "Maga pa mata ko."
Although some viewers expressed mixed feelings about the ending of the series, journalist MJ Marfori was satisfied with the drama’s finale. “The ending I asked for,” she wrote on her Instagram story.
On the other hand, Karylle and Yael Yuzon shared on their respective Instagram stories about their preparation before watching the final episode. Karylle posted their Korean-themed dinner and snacks to match the mood as they watched Queen of Tears on Sunday evening.
Also a fan, Karylle’s husband Yael, shared a photo of the singer-host who was having Korean barbecue for dinner. He also used his band Sponge Cola's new song Tatlong Buwan on the post. Yael previously said that the drama inspired him to write the song.
Meanwhile, Melai Cantiveros-Francisco, who recently sparked laughter among her followers after posting an edited photo of herself with Queen of Tears leads Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, also expressed her excitement on her Instagram story saying, “Oh my god, ayan na ang Episode 16!”
Queen of Tears tells the story of a married couple Baek Hyun-Woo (Kim Soo-Hyun) and Hong Hae-In (Kim Ji-Won) surviving a crisis and their journey of choosing to stay together against all odds. Its final episode broke the record as the drama with the highest viewership rating in tvN’s history, dethroning Crash Landing on You.
