Chris Evans reveals he’s been ‘worse’ than ghosted in love and romance
Chris Evans, who has been dubbed the “Sexiest Man Alive” by PEOPLE Magazine, said he has experienced something "much worse" than ghosting in love and romance.
The Hollywood star opened up to the same media outlet about going through “something much worse" than ghosting—or having someone "cut off all communication without explanation," as defined by The New York Times.
“I think I’d prefer being ghosted because you can make up any story you want. I’ve had the slow decline in text responses, and you just know the person is pushing you aside casually,” he said in a recent interview.
The 41-year-old actor took it a day at a time. “You tell yourself a story, whatever you have to do to get by,” he added.
Evans is currently in a relationship with 25-year-old Alba Baptista, with whom he went Instagram official in January this year by sharing a compilation of their adorable “scaring” videos on social media.
He also marked Valentine’s Day with lovey-dovey photos of him and his girlfriend, where they can be seen hiking, enjoying a view of the Northern Lights, skiing, and even sharing a kiss.
In November 2022, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that they have been dating for more than a year.
“They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her,” the insider said.
Evans is best known for his role as Captain America in different films by the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Baptista, meanwhile, is best known for her character in the Netflix series Warrior Nun.
