Alden Richards intimated another collaboration with Kathryn Bernardo, his co-star in the 2019 romance movie Hello, Love, Goodbye.

In a video by ABS-CBN News, Richards, who is also debuting as a director and producer of an upcoming project, was asked if his multimedia company Myriad Entertainment would work with Bernardo soon.

“Coming soon! Let’s go!” he told the press at the 19th Eastwood Walk of Fame ceremony before chuckling and walking away.

Set in Hong Kong, Hello, Love, Goodbye follows struggling domestic helper Joy Fabregas (Bernardo), who becomes friends with bartender Ethan Del Rosario (Richards), who's fulfilling his dreams as an incoming permanent resident.

They fall in love but their life plans differ—Ethan wants to build a life in Hong Kong while Joy is moving to Canada.

The movie was considered a local showbiz breakthrough in the context of love teams. At the time, Bernardo was the other half of KathNiel with Daniel Padilla, while Richards was the other half of AlDub with Maine Mendoza.

They’re also from then-rival networks ABS-CBN and GMA.

Hello, Love, Goodbye, directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana, is one of the highest-grossing Filipino romantic drama films of all time, earning P881 million globally.

In December 2023, Richards said he’s ready “anytime” to make a Hello, Love, Goodbye sequel.
