JK Labajo expressed his concerns for child safety after he spotted a two-month-old baby in the crowd brought by its parents during his concert.

In the video posted by LifeofEs, the OPM singer was seen addressing the crowd after seeing a crying infant in the crowd in the middle of his show.

“Two months? Ba’t mo pinaparinig ng Ere ‘yung bata? Two months pa lang, maaga, wag,” he began at the recorded video. He went on to express his concern for the child’s safety, especially since it was in the loud crowd.

“Wala bang earmuffs si baby? Umiiyak na si baby, okay lang ba ‘yan? Umiiyak, kawawa naman ‘yung bata,” he said.

In the next clip, the Buwan singer was seen cradling the baby on stage, while talking to a guy who appears to be one of the staff of the event.

He later addressed the crowd to remind them to always prioritize child safety and to refrain from bringing those aged one year old below as they are still sensitive to loud noises.

“Yung mga bata, especially one-year below super sensitive pa yung mga tenga nila,” he said, and then asked his staff if there were any headphones they could give to help comfort the child.

"Maraming salamat sa suporta, but please alagaan niyo si baby,” he stressed.

JK’s act of kindness earned praise from social media users, who commended how responsible he is as an artist to pause his show for the child.

“Glad to see responsible artists like JK.. Thank u for your concern towards your audience..,” one Facebook user wrote.

“[H]anga ako sa kanya....di baling mahinto performance nya...basta mabigyang concern nya yong BB....he [has] a good heart...and he will be good father [I’m] sure,” another one commented.

There were also others who expressed their dismay to the parents of the two-month-old baby.

“Grabe naman sa parents nitong baby na ito... Sana kaligtasan muna ni baby bago kaligayahan ninyo... Sa mismong artist na nanggaling kawawa yung bata,” one commented.

JK, or Juan Karlos, started his career in music after finishing third in The Voice Kids Season 1. Some of his hit tracks include Buwan, Demonyo, Shot Puno, and Ere which currently has over 100 million streams on Spotify. This is also the song that made him the first Filipino artist to land in Spotify's top 100 global charts, reaching No. 87.
