Filo Swifties express disappointment in wittiest ways after Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour' skips the Philippines

Taylor Swift has added stops in Asia for her Eras Tour, but it left Filo Swifties not feeling all too well after leaving out the Philippines.

Filipino Swifties are one of the biggest fandoms of the American singer, in fact, Quezon City landed on the list  of the top cities in the world listening to Taylor on Spotify.

Hoping that Taylor would return to the country after eight years, some fans even organized drag shows called "Fan Nights: The Eras Festival in Manila" in March and May. These shows were a way to petition for Swift to bring her actual Eras tour to the Philippines.

However, when Taylor announced her international tour last June 20, Pinoy fans were disheartened after knowing that Taylor is only making stops in Singapore and Japan next year.

To cope, Filo Swifties shared their feelings in the wittiest way possible through social media.

Definitely feeling not ‘All Too Well’

Shortly after the heartbreaking announcement, one user perfectly described how Filo Swifties felt, including the reference of Sadie Heart’s crying scene in the music video of All Too Well (10-minute version).

Swifties as Bobbie Salazar

“Are you saying I’m unfair?”

“No, ma. I’m saying you have your favorites.”

Remember the iconic confrontation scene from the movie Four Sisters and a Wedding? Bobbie (Bea Alonzo) and Grace Salazar’s (Conery Reyes) argument perfectly summed up the Swifties’ feelings and emotions.

Swifties in their ‘desperate’ era

Another Twitter user posted a clip from teleserye Abot Kamay Na Pangarap which hilariously depicted Pinoy Swifties' frustration in a “daunting” way.

“Magkanong concert mo, ha? Isang milyon? Limang milyon? Magkano para kumanta ka?” said Moira (Pinky Amador).

Swifties in their second stage of grief

While some cried, there are others who seemingly stomped their frustration after the news. A Twitter user posted a clip of an angry Carlos Fiero (John Arcilla) from the telerserye, Dirty Linen.

Still gotta secure that ticket (and book that flight)

If you really want to see Taylor perform live, you might want to consider getting tickets to her Singapore and Japan concerts.

The Singapore leg will happen from March 2-4, 2024 at the National Stadium.

The Eras Tour Fan Registration for general sale will begin from June 23 to June 28, 12 p.m. Successful registrants will receive an email on July 5 on how to join the general sale that will happen on July 7 via Ticketmaster or at SingPost outlets.
