How to help the victims of Typhoon Egay

By Jullianne Mora Published Jul 27, 2023 10:11 pm

Typhoon Egay (international name: Doksuri) struck the Philippines this week, bringing heavy rains and violent winds to different parts of Northern Luzon.

According to the NDRRMC, the powerful cyclone left some people dead and others injured. It also affected hundreds of thousands of residents in more than 10 regions, including Luzon, Western Visayas, and Northern Mindanao, among others. Most of them are now staying in evacuation centers for shelter and assistance.

If you have the means to extend a hand to our kababayans in need, here's a running list of organizations and donation drives where you can offer help.
