During the Leni-Kiko rally in Tarlac on March 23, Kris Aquino revealed that her late brother, former president Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino III, had an unsent letter to presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo.

The message, according to Kris, was what cemented her support for Robredo, who was a liberal party ally of PNoy. She didn't go into the contents of the letter as it is confidential but shared a paragraph that stuck with her.

All Media told the Tarlac crowd.

She added that Pnoy saw sincerity and selflessness in Robredo.

"Nung nabasa ko yun, sinabi ko sa sarili ko, 'You have to fight for her dahil sa kanya bilib si Noy,'" Kris said, noting that the vice president and her brother shared similar qualities.

The TV host then described Robredo as a candidate that would fight for democracy. "Nakikiusap po ako, wag tayong pumayag na mawala itong (democracy) muli," Kris added before introducing Robredo to the stage.

Former president Noynoy passed away at 61 in his sleep in June due to renal disease secondary to diabetes.
