Grab the popcorn! These malls will allow you to enjoy food and drinks in their movie theaters
Movie junkies can finally get a taste of normality in cinemas!
In case you missed it, you are now allowed to bring snacks and dine inside movie theaters under Alert Level 1 until March 31.
Although health protocols such as wearing of face masks and physical distancing between seats are still in place, the lifting of the ban on food and drinks has definitely piqued cinephiles' interest. Cinema houses are also now allowed to operate at a 100% capacity.
Here's the running list of cinemas that will allow you to "movies and chill" with popcorn and soda just like in the post-pandemic era — almost.
SM Cinemas
SM Cinema has announced that their cinema houses will now allow food and drinks for moviegoers. Minors are also no longer required to present proof of vaccination under the Alert Level 1 guidelines.

Along with Makati's Power Plant Mall, San Juan's Santolan Town Plaza has announced that moviegoers of all ages are now permitted to enjoy their favorite cinema snacks.
Like other cinemas, health and sanitation practices will still be in place, such as designated entry and exit points, disinfection, and guaranteed fresh air supply.
