Let the Ragnarok battles begin!

Netflix has revealed a brand-new trailer, key art, and other details of the Record of Ragnarok anime adaptation launching on the streaming service next month.

The Netflix original anime series is based on the best selling manga created by Azychika, Shinya Umemura and Takumi Fukui, which has over six million copies in print.

Record of Ragnarok tells the story of 13 gods from across the globe and 13 of the world's most notable humans fighting it out in one-on-one battles to decide the fate of humanity.

Along with the second official trailer, the streaming giant also relased a new poster featuring some of the battle-ready gods and human fighters in action.

Bringing this intense world to the screen is Graphinica, the animation studio behind Juni Taisen: Zodiac War and Hello World, known for depicting fierce 3DCG battles in anime such as Blade of the Immortal, Promare and Girls und Panzer.

The voice cast for the upcoming animated series includes Miyuki Sawashiro, Tomoyo Kurosawa, Tomokazu Seki, Hikaru Midorikawa, and Wataru Takagi.

Check out the trailer for the anime below.

Record of Ragnarok will be launching globally on June 17, 2021 exclusively on Netflix.
