Ready to see Valak? These malls will have a midnight screening of 'The Nun 2'
Are you ready for Valak to scare the the living daylights out of you on the big screen... at midnight?
Several cinemas in the country are set to have a midnight screening of the upcoming supernatural horror film The Nun 2 on Sept. 6.
The film will premiere starting at 12:01 a.m. at SM Cinema Downtown Premier, SM Cinema Dasmariñas, SM Cinema Davao, SM Cinema Fairview, SM Cinema Grand Central, SM Cinema Iloilo, SM Cinema Manila, SM Cinema Marikina, SM Cinema Pampanga, SM Cinema San Lazaro, SM Cinema Seaside Cebu, and SM Cinema Urdaneta Central.
If you think you're up for the challenge of intensifying the scares, however, then several IMAX branches are also participating in the midnight screening.

It is the ninth installment in The Conjuring Universe franchise that was created by acclaimed horror director James Wan. Valak first appeared as the true antagonist in The Conjuring 2. Due to its menacing appearance as a demonic nun, the character quickly became popular among fans of the franchise and received its own spinoff.
The synopsis of the upcoming film reads: "1956 – France. A priest is murdered. An evil is spreading. The sequel to the worldwide smash hit THE NUN follows SISTER IRENE as she once again comes face to face with the demonic force VALAK – THE DEMON NUN."
