Are you ready to say goodbye to the Money Heist gang?
As the show's final episodes stream on Netflix, the members of the cast are getting emotional on Instagram as they bid the series, their characters, their co-stars, and the fans goodbye.
"Still can’t believe all the amazing things [Money Heist] has brought me. I feel grateful, thank you so much guys ?," wrote Ursula Corbero who plays Tokyo.
Meanwhile, Alvaro Morte shared how the Professor became one of his favorite heroes.
"My favorite superheroes were always Batman and Superman. Until I met you. Thank you for everything. Goodbye, Sergio. Goodbye, Professor," he wrote.
Pedro Alonso also wrote: "Thank you to everyone who has aligned with us and given us the strength to celebrate every step of this incredible journey. My love to each of you."
"Libson, Raquel, how much you gave and how much you asked for. It has been a beautiful journey full of light and shadows. What a wonderful experience!" Itziar Ituño penned in Spanish.
Miguel G. Herran, aka Rio, shared images from the red carpet, including one of him and his on-screen love interest Corbero.
"Thanks to all of you who have accompanied us during these five years. Tomorrow we close together a beautiful stage. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have," he said.
"The last part of @lacasadepapel is already YOURS," wrote Stockholm actress Esther Acebo. "Thank you for this wonderful trip. EstocoLmo is Crying, but my / her tears are of happiness. We are invaded by the emotion and the pride of being part of this great family."
The Spanish crime drama Money Heist (Le Casa de Papel), became one of Netflix's biggest shows—the Salvador Dali masks became an icon as the show's popularity grew.
Despite the main series coming to an end, the story will continue in a spinoff centered around Berlin (Pedro Alonso), which is slated for a 2023 release.
There will also be a Korean adaptation of the Spanish series starring Squid Game's Park Hae-soo.
All five seasons of Money Heist are available to stream on Netflix.
