Turn-Based FPS ‘Lemnis Gate’ beta starts on July 22

Ratloop Games Canada’s genre mashup experiment with time loops will start melting brains on its beta starting from July 22, 1:00 a.m. until July 26, 1:00 a.m.

Lemnis Gate is a turn-based strategy FPS where players take control of seven “operatives” that each possess distinct loadout and special abilities and will feature both single player and multiplayer modes.

During the beta testing, only two game modes, both in 1v1 and 2v2, will be available. These modes are Domination, where players are tasked to take control of as many particle accelerators as possible before the match ends, and Retrieve XM, a capture the flag-like mode where teams must collect a thing and bring it back to their base.

These two game modes will be playable on two maps each.

Players will also earn exclusive skins for operatives and weapons if they choose to participate in the beta.

The beta will be available through Steam via redemption codes on the Lemnis Gate’s twitter account and their Discord server.
