90s hit boy band Backstreet Boys were visited by their “sixth” member Drake, at their show in his hometown, Toronto, on the evening of July 2.

At the boy band’s second show in the city for their DNA World Tour, Drake was seen joining the quintet on stage while they performed the crowd favorite song "I Want It That Way."

Drake shared the special moment he sang the song's iconic line along with the witty caption, “When she says she’s over men in this generation and asks why I live alone…”

The rapper harmonized and danced with the group as he enjoyed their interaction. He also tried to hype up the crowd as he fanboys over the band.

According to People Magainze's report, it was also during this time that Drake revealed why the Backstreet Boys songs have been very important to him.

"At 13 years old, I had a bar mitzvah, and at my bar mitzvah, for the first time in my life, this girl I was in love with came up to me while one of the greatest songs in the world was playing, and she asked me if I would dance with her," he added, "It was the first time I ever felt acknowledged, and it was the first time I ever felt like, you know, I had a shot at being cool."

“And by the way, if she could see me now!” he shouted cheerfully, noting that the song is “one of the greatest songs in music history.”

The Backstreet Boys likewise shared footage of their iconic interaction with Drake on stage. "What's better than I Want it That Way?" the group captioned the post.

Apart from their short-but-sweet collab with Drake, Backstreet Boys recently made the hearts of 90s kids flutter yet again with their recent online performance with fellow A-list boy band Westlife.

The performance was part of the two-hour live stream concert organized by the Chinese social media app WeChat that was aired last July 24. It featured the groups' duet of Backstreet Boys' I Want it That Way and Westlife's My Love

In a press release sent to foreign media outlets, the event's organizers said that the concert was watched by 45 million viewers in China, making it by far WeChat's highest-attended online concert by a foreign artist.
