Calling all true crime fanatics!

There’s a new documentary thriller you can add to your watch list—and it’s from the makers of the disturbing docuseries that took the internet by storm in 2019 dubbed Don’t F*** with Cats

The Tinder Swindler revolves around a man named Shimon Hayut, who pretended to be a diamond mogul and a billionaire’s son under the name Simon Leviev to catfish women on the dating app. What started from sweet nothings turned into romance scams that progressed slowly, but surely.

The serial catfisher made singles fall in love with him not only with flattering messages, but also lavish gifts and trips that he paid for using the money from his previous love frauds. Later on, he asked his “girlfriends” or victims for loans to protect himself from so-called “dangerous” people and “enemies.” According to the new Netflix addition, he ended up with around $10 million (P510.8 million).

Adding excitement to the new docu are the interviews with three women who detailed their experiences with the “Tinder Swindler”—and how they got even with him.
