Meme check: People are making 'evil' versions of the most random references

The internet isn't exactly the most logical of places, but a new trending meme has people wondering what it means to be good and evil. Well, sort of.

In case your timeline isn't already filled with the negative versions of your favorite pop culture icons and fictional personalities, a new meme sees photos of people in negative photograph form captioned with the opposite of their catchphrases or personalities.

Per meme origin site Know Your Meme, the format started on Sept. 21 with an image of civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr. captioned with “Evil MLK be like / I have a nightmare” to juxtapost his famous "I Have a Dream" speech.

Since then, it's skyrocketed to hilarious heights and even to our own Filipino pop culture references.
