Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell found safe after being reported missing and ‘endangered’
Former Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has been found safe after being reported missing and “endangered” by the police.
In a Facebook post on Thursday night, April 13 (Philippine time), the Daytona Beach Police Department said they were looking for Jared Bell, adding that he “should be traveling in a 2022 grey BMW" and was last seen in the area of Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida on Wednesday, April 12.
On Friday, April 14 at 1:26 a.m., they confirmed that "law enforcement officials are in contact and Mr. Bell is safe."
According to a report by entertainment portal Page Six, Bell is dealing with a separation from his wife Janet Von Schmeling, with whom he shares a child.
Page Six said that the child actor has had “run-ins” with the law in the past. He pleaded guilty to attempted child endangerment “and disseminating matters harmful to juveniles” in 2021 and was caught driving under the influence in 2015.
Bell is best known for the popular Nickelodeon show Drake & Josh. He began his acting career in 1990.
