Dimples Romana celebrates daughter Callie's first solo flight as student pilot
Dimples Romana was on cloud nine as she celebrated her daughter Callie's first solo flight as a student pilot.
In a recent Instagram post, the actress expressed her pride and happiness over her daughter's latest achievement. "To say I’m a proud momma is a total understatement for today’s family milestone as our dear student pilot Christiana Amanda Lauren Romana-Ahmee just flew the plane ON HER OWN for the first time today!" she wrote in the caption.
"What a ROCKSTAR you are Callie!!!! Such a joy seeing you come into your own. We’re all here for you kid! Fly high!" she added.
Dimples later stressed her appreciation for children who value their dreams and are not afraid to step out of their comfort zone to go for them. "Thank God for children who value family, hard work, dreams and taking lots and lots of leaps of faith! Sometimes I wonder what dad and I ever do right to deserve such a gem like you my Ate Callie," she wrote.
She continued, "Keep inspiring the youth and young women like you to never stop pursuing their dreams and staying true to who they are, no matter what! True queen, my baby girl!"
Callie is currently working hard in training to be a pilot at an aviation school in Australia, which has long been one of her biggest dreams. On Instagram, she also posted a picture of herself in her pilot gear and a video of her flying the plane.
She was even given a cake decorated with an artwork of a plane's cockpit with the words "First SOLO FLIGHT. Capt. Callie! Whuut?!"
She dedicated her milestone to her mother Dimples and father Boyet.
Callie first flew to Australia in March to pursue her lifelong ambition of being a pilot. In July, she reunited with her mom through the latter's heartwarming surprise visit.
