Alessandra de Rossi says those who are judging unmarried women are just scared to be alone

For Alessandra de Rossi, people who see unmarried women like her negatively are only scared of being alone.

In a recent interview on the showbiz podcast of news anchor Nelson Canlas, the actress stressed that not being married does not always equal loneliness.

"Well, kung negative 'yung tingin nila sa unmarried, parang, takot kayo mag-isa," she said.

"Sorry. I mean, kung 'yun 'yung dating sa inyo, pero kaming unmarried, masaya naman kami," Alessandra added.

While motherhood is considered fulfilling for many, she reminded people that it shouldn't define women as complete.

"I'm sure, napakafulfilling na trabaho na maging ina, 'di ba?" she said. "It's a blessing from the Lord, talaga. Gano'n. Nakalagay naman 'yan, children are a gift from God, 'di ba?"

"Pero parang, ang lungkot naman kung feeling mo, dahil hindi ka nabigyan or hindi ka ganun, eh, malungkot ang buhay mo. Parang 'Uy, teka lang ha," she explained.

Alessandra emphasized that unmarried women can still feel fulfilled even without a partner or a child.

"Hindi lang ang buhay ay pagkakaroon ng relasyon, pagpapakasal, pagkakaroon ng anak. Parang ang daming ibang klaseng life, like, nagtrabaho, nagtravel, binuhos niya 'yung life niya sa isang community, she changed the world in her own little way, special way," she continued.

Alessandra was previously linked to actors Marc Abaya, Sid Lucero, and Oyo Boy Sotto as well as director Rico Gutierrez.
