Looks like fans of Sandara Park wouldn't have to wait long to get their hands on her first solo album, as it is already slated for release this July.

In a statement released to Korean entertainment outlet Soompi today, June 14, Sandara's agency Abyss Company confirmed that it is eyeing to drop the K-pop idol's album next month.

"Sanda Park is preparing for a new album [aiming to be released] in July," the agency briefly said, noting that the album's concept and exact release date will be announced "later when the detail[s] are decided."

Earlier today, several media outlets also reported that the K-pop idol has finished filming the music video for her title track and is now in the final stages of her preparation for her album's launch.

Abyss Company's announcement comes three months after Sandara first hinted at launching her first album on social media. "I will give a big spoiler!!! The concept of my album will be 'Sandara Park,'" she tweeted on Feb. 28.

While the musician didn't reveal much about her upcoming album, she told a fan who commented on her post that it doesn't include any sexy songs but she can always dress sexy "when I want to." She added that it will have "different tropical vibes... Sandara style."

Sandara's debut as a solo musician comes 14 years since she forayed into the K-pop industry as a member of the girl group 2NE1 with the nickname "Dara." The group is best known for their hit songs I Don't Care, I Am the Best, Fire, and Ugly, among others.

They disbanded in 2016, with Sandara and the rest of the members—Park Bom, CL, and Minzy—pursuing solo projects in the years that followed.

Prior to joining her current agency, Sandara worked on several projects as an actress and television host signed under YG Entertainment for 17 years.

Sandara's Filipino fans, on the other hand, have known the K-pop superstar since she joined the first season of ABS-CBN's talent show Star Circle Quest in 2004, where she became famous as "Pambansang Krung Krung."
