Zayn Malik says his 'foot is fine' after being run over by car during rare public appearance
Zayn Malik had a minor unlucky night after his right foot got hit by a car during his first public appearance in almost five years.
In an Instagram post, the former One Direction star remained positive as he assured his fans that his foot was fine, showing a picture of a white sneaker stained by dark tread marks.
"My foot is fine !! Thanks to my incredibly well made shoes," he quipped with a laugh and thumbs-up emojis.
A video of him, meanwhile, circulated on X (formerly Twitter) showing how a white car beside him ran over his foot while he was being flocked by fans and security going to the event.
Despite the unfortunate turn of the night, Zayn even called it a great show as he attended the Kenzo Menswear show for Paris Fashion Week on Friday.
The Pillowtalk singer sat in front with Pharrell Williams, Sidney Toledano, and ex-CEO of Christian Dior Rita Ora at the event, looking sharp in a blue geometric patterned suit and white polo underneath.
It was a rare sighting from the fans of the 31-year-old singer as he last appeared in public during Tom Ford's New York Fashion Week show in 2018, sitting next to Gigi Hadid's brother Anward Hadid.
Malik and Gigi broke up in 2021, agreeing to co-parent with their daughter Khai.
