Fans of Zayn Malik are brimming with joy right now as the singer has sent a rare heartfelt message to his supporters after being inactive on social media for a few months now.

On his Twitter account, the former One Direction member went out of his way to address his listeners in a short but sweet post, highlighting that he treasures their continued support despite remaining mostly out of the public eye in the last few years.

"I would like to say thank you to everyone that has supported me throughout this amazing journey, especially to my fans who I owe my life to," Zayn wrote.

"Love and adore you and see everything you do for me," he added.

The 30-year-old singer and songwriter has been absent from Twitter since December last year, although he did make an earlier tweet about a professional wrestling match on May 21.

With regards to Facebook and Instagram, he has been sharing some photos about his everyday life, but opts to write no captions about what he's doing.

His music career has also become rather dormant, with his last album Nobody Is Listening having been released way back in 2021. However, in November last year, Zayn announced that he had been tapped to collaborate with the late Jimi Hendrix and released a version of the music legend's song Angel in honor of his 80th birthday.

"Being asked to collaborate to celebrate Jimi Hendrix's 80th birthday was such an unexpected and huge honour. I have so much respect and admiration for Jimi, his music and fans," he wrote on Twitter.

Zayn first gained prominence after he formed the five-piece boy band One Direction along with Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson until his his departure from the group in March 2015. The group is currently on an indefinite hiatus, allowing all members to pursue solo projects.
