Aside from their looks and bop discography, EXO's Sehun and Chanyeol are also known for their talents in acting.

In a press conference ahead of their fancon at Smart Araneta Coliseum on Saturday, May 20 organized by PULP Live World, K-pop duo Sehun and Chanyeol of EXO let themselves be known better by tackling their career as a sub-unit and their individual careers as an actor.

Recently, Sehun starred in a new drama series All That We Loved as Go Yoo, a kind high schooler who is also famous for his talent in basketball. PhilSTAR L!fe asked Sehun how he prepared for the role, to which he described it as a “challenge.”

“When I was preparing for Go Yoo’s character—because as you can see, he is a high schooler, 18 years old—I really had to recall how to be young again. So, the biggest dilemma I had was 'how was I during my high school years? How did I look back then, what was my focus?' So, I really focused on being innocent,” the 29-year-old idol-actor said.

When asked about what kind of role he wants to portray next, he said that he wants to try many kinds of characters, but he asked Chanyeol for suggestions on what would suit him best.

“Personally, because he looks very sharp, I think killer roles would fit him,” Chanyeol said.

For his part, Chanyeol, who had his first starring role in a movie in 2021 titled The Box prior to his military enlistment, said he prefers something that's "relaxed" this time.

“If given the chance next time, because most of the roles I get was always running, get bruised, fall, and trip. So next time, I want to try something that I will not need to run or get tripped, something that’s relaxed, that the kind of role I wanna do,” said Chanyeol.

EXO-SC's Back-to-Back fancon tour is their first project after Chanyeol’s military enlistment and the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. They debuted in 2019 with an EP What a Life. They last visited the country with the rest of the EXO members during their EXO PLANET #5 – EXplOration world tour in August 2019.
