While her recent lab results were “alarming,” Kris Aquino remains grateful to her doctors for finding treatments that can help restore her health over time.

In a lengthy Instagram post on Saturday, April 15, the Queen of All Media expressed her gratitude to her “excellent team of doctors” as she gave special mention to Dr. Malika Gupta and Dr. John Belperio for their “excellence and real compassion.”

“I have many limitations when it comes to medicine and treatments because of my allergies and/or adverse reactions yet they both found treatments that given time can help me get my health back,” she wrote.

Kris also revealed that her “last numbers were alarming” in her latest health update. “Pinaalala sa’kin na yung four diagnosed autoimmune (conditions) ko, puwedeng maging five or six, and my major organs like my heart and lungs can suffer permanent damage.”

She’s set to undergo new treatments next week along with a biological injectable she has begun taking recently. “Praying kayanin ko,” she said.

The multimedia personality thanked not only her nearest and dearest but also those who don’t know her personally but continue to pray for her to get better. “I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve your kindness but please know you give me hope and courage to keep the faith and trust God’s merciful love.”

“Thank you for being my rainbow,” she continued.

Kris also said there were special people she wanted to thank in her post "by name," but she learned that "when you choose to open up portions of your life that should remain private (close friendships and relationships), you open what’s special to harsh judgment.”

“You deserved a health update because you’ve been with me in this journey, sana ibalato nyo na lang ang private life during my journey of healing,” she concluded.

Kris has been in the United States since June 2022 for her medical tests and procedures for her several autoimmune diseases. Her son Bimby recently revealed that she’s stable and now weighs 103 pounds—a significant improvement from her weight early last year at 88 lbs.
