LOOK: Aircraft carries 'PH welcomes the great Lalisa' sign ahead of BLACKPINK's Manila concert

Filo Lisa stans welcomed their BLACKPINK bias to the Philippines in the best way possible.

An aircraft carrying a “PH WELCOMES THE GREAT LALISA” sign was seen circling over the Philippine Arena hours before BLACKPINK's concert in the country on Saturday, March 25. Videos and photos of the sign landed on Twitter's list of trending topics, with over 40,000 tweets as of writing. 

The grand gesture was prepared by the Filipino fans of Lisa, who has also been shining as a solo artist since 2021. 

Other topics and hashtags about the upcoming show have also been dominating the social media platform, including “Philippine Arena,” “BORNPINKMANILA_BULACAN,” “Jisoo,” and “Blinks."

BLACKPINK's two-day Born Pink concert in the country is slated from March 25-26 at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan—the world's largest indoor arena with a seating capacity of over 50,000 guests.

The ongoing event is the second global concert tour headlined by the K-pop girl group to promote their second Korean studio album release, Born Pink. It started on Oct. 15, 2022, in Seoul, South Korea, and will conclude on June 17 in Sydney, Australia.

BLACKPINK, consisting of Rosé, Jennie, Lisa and Jisoo, debuted in 2016 under YG Entertainment. They’re best known for their hit songs How You Like ThatKill This Love, and DDU-DU DDU-DU.
