WayV’s first fan meeting in Manila was definitely one for the books!

Filling the Big Dome with green and red, Filo WayZenNies did not hide their excitement last March 26 during the "Phantom" fan meeting in Manila organized by DNM Entertainment.

WayV’s Hendery, Ten, Kun, Xiaojun, and Yangyang first hyped up the crowd with their energetic performance of Kick Back and Try My Luck.

The group then moved on to the “What’s in my bag?” segment where they raided Hendery’s bag as they reminisced about their first visit to Manila.

Inside Hendery’s bag, the group impressed the fans by revealing Pinoy classics such as a bag of banana chips, a pamaymay, and the iconic “Good Morning Towel.”

A tourist’s guide brochure was also found in Hendery’s bag, but the idol bragged that he won’t be needing it anymore because he knows his way to the Philippines. “I don’t need this anymore, you know why? I already know here so well!” he quipped.

Going to the second part of the event, the boys danced to Illusion by aespa—a K-pop girl group from the fourth generation. They also danced to Candy by NCT Dream, and Sherlock by SHINee—a K-pop boy group from the second generation.

After swooning the crowd, WayV quickly set the stage on fire with their Love Talk and Nectar performances.

One of the special moments during the fan meeting was when WayV and Filo WayZenNies sang together to Yangyang and Ten's song Low Low.

“Wow, I didn’t know you guys liked Low Low too!” said Ten.

The group talked to the crowd at the end of the show, expressing their gratitude and appreciation for welcoming them at their first fan meeting in the country.

“First of all, I would like to thank all our WayZenNies in Manila, thank you for giving us so much support and giving us so much energy and great memories for today,” said Yangyang.

Hendery then promised the Filo WayZenNies that they will be coming back soon before they did their last few performances and ending the fun night with Best Life.

“We [kept] our promise, [so, we’ll make another] promise: We will see you, again,” he said.

Indeed, WayV’s first fan meeting in Manila is one for the books, as both WayV and WayZenNies gave each other something to add to their core memories. The group truly knows how to make the crowd special, having been able to appreciate and remember the smallest things that remind them of the Filipino fans.
