Pinoy drag performer Taylor Sheesh has been conquering not just local stages but more so, global headlines. The latest addition to her growing fame is her recent feature in the US morning show Good Morning America.

Sheesh was featured on the ABC News program on its episode last Sept. 2. Good Morning America showed the viral TikTok videos of Sheesh impersonating the international superstar Taylor Swift in Philippine malls.

The drag performer, whose real name is Mac Coronel, created her version of Swift's "Eras" tour inspired by the Pinoy Swifties' clamor for the global pop icon to add the Philippines to her stops.

Apart from this, Sheesh revealed to Good Morning America that being a longtime Swiftie greatly influenced her act.

"I've been a Taylor Swift fan since 2009 and somehow it [worked] and went viral," Sheesh said.

Asked which of Swift's songs she loves to perform the most, Sheesh listed You Belong With Me, Love Story, We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, and Cruel Summer as ones where she ultimately feels "the ground shaking" because of the crowd's excitement.

Just like a true concert queen, Sheesh said the hardest part of her performances is the "quick change of the costumes."

"After the first performance, I have like 30-45 seconds to do a quick change," she said.

Sheesh continues to gain both local and international attention from her performances on TikTok, and hopes to tour the Philippines with her “Eras tour” gig. She also wishes to meet Swift at her concert in Singapore, which the online sensation will be attending soon.
