Jada Pinkett Smith has neither confirmed nor denied her son's claims that she introduced them to psychedelic drugs.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Jada said that it will be revealed in her memoir, Worthy, which is coming out this October.

“It all gets answered in the book," she said.

“I think people have made a lot of assumptions. And you know what? Rightfully so. I have to take ownership of that, in regards to the narrative that I've participated in, the falsehoods about myself,” she told the publication. “In the book, I really explain all of that extensively.”

Last June 23, Jaden Smith revealed at the Psychedelic Science conference that it was his mom Jada who introduced psychedelic drugs to their family.

"I think it was my mom, actually, that was really the first one to make that step for the family," Jaden shared. "It was just her for a really, really long time and then eventually it just trickled and evolved and everybody found it in their own ways."

He explained that the drug has helped him and his siblings, Willow and Trey, become closer.

“Siblings can argue so much and fight so much, and Lord knows me and my siblings have done so much of that in the past. But the level of love and empathy that I can feel for them inside of the experiences and outside of the experiences has been something that’s profound and beautiful,” he added.

“It will actually help us to open up our minds to get out of the old ways of thinking that got us into lots of these arguments and open it up so that it just releases and makes room for you to work it out and massage it out until it’s completely gone,” he noted.

For her part, Jada said that she first tried plant medicine a decade ago and that it "knocked [depression] out" of her. While she did not specify the type of plant medicine she used, she said that it was legal.

"I struggled with depression for so long. And the thing about the plant medicine is it helps you feel better but also solves the problems of how you got there in the first place," Jada shared.
