Content creator and model Mari Jasmine had a themed baby shower and it looked straight out of Pinterest!

Mari, who was born to a Japanese mother and English father, shared pictures and videos from the Japanese-themed event held on Monday, March 6 on her Instagram account.

During the festivities, she and her entrepreneur husband Mike Concepcion invited their nearest and dearest to an intimate gathering, treating them to a variety of Japanese cultural activities.

One of which was an ikebana-making station, or the art of arranging flowers and leaves in containers. Mari even had to go to Dangwa in Quezon City that morning to buy fresh blooms.

Guests also tried their hand at making paper cranes or origami, and tie dye shirts and onesies.

Of course, baby shower attendees feasted to some mouth-watering Japanese food. They were served salmon and chashu bowls, wagyu beef, and a sakura cake and cupcakes.

"It’s all starting to feel very real and exciting. [V]ery grateful for my friends and family for helping us on this special day," she wrote, tagging a three of her friends.

Mari announced her pregnancy through an Instagram post on November 13.

“Our greatest adventure yet,” she captioned. “I spent years not knowing where life would take me but I’ve never been so sure that this is the path I was meant to be on.”

She and Mike tied the knot ten days after the announcement in Sydney, Australia.
