Halle Bailey welcomes her first baby boy with boyfriend DDG
Halle Bailey has a new part of her world.
The Little Mermaid actress took to Instagram to share that she's given birth to a baby boy.
"Even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me was bring me my son," the 23-year-old singer wrote on Jan. 7.
"Welcome to the world, my Halo. The world is desperate to know you."
Bailey shared a photo of her newborn's hand holding hers. The baby is seen wearing a gold band with "HALO" engraved.
Her boyfriend, rapper DDG, also shared the photo on Instagram: "My biggest blessing so far... never been so in love 🥹 baby halo."
In the latter part of 2023, there were rumors about Bailey being pregnant with one fan on Snapchat saying she had "pregnancy nose." While the actress is mostly private on social media, she clapped back at the comment saying, "Listen, if I see one more person say something about my nose one more time, it's going to be hell to pay."
Bailey and DDG have been dating for over a year, with the two going public in March 2022. In an interview with People in May, The Little Mermaid star said she would call him a real life Prince Charming.
"I think the best thing about young love is that you're able to continue to find yourself through this journey of loving somebody else. And you're discovering new parts of yourself and maybe things that you didn't notice before about your heart," she told the entertainment outlet.
