The Big Dome was filled with Filo EXO-Ls yellow hearts last weekend!

Filo EXO-Ls filled the Araneta Coliseum with a sea of yellow and resounding love and excitement during EXO-SC's first fan concert held on Saturday, May 20.

After their brief press conference, Sehun and Chanyeol went on the stage and hyped the crowd with the hit song What a Life, with Filo EXO-Ls singing along.

They went on to greet the crowd, with Chanyeol saying, “Amazing, galing ninyo!” Sehun agreeing: “Philippines talaga ang the best!”

Even before the fancon started, Filo EXO-Ls made sure to make a blast for the D-Day: chanting the sub-unit names, giving away cute banners and freebies to their co-EXO-Ls, and posing the cutest way possible to Sehun and Chanyeol’s standees around the area.

The big dome didn’t have a silent moment that night, especially when the boys perform their hit songs, including What a Life and 1 billion views.

"Dahil malakas ang boses niyo di na namin marinig ang sarili naming boses!" Chanyeol said via a translator.

Sehun and Chanyeol last visited the country with the rest of the EXO members during their EXO PLANET #5 – EXplOration tour in Manila in August 2019, that’s why their visit this year was really anticipated by their fans.

“It’s been a long time since we last came here to the Philippines, we really missed you a lot,” said Sehun, which prompted the EXO-Ls to scream in kilig.

Chanyeol never missed an opportunity to impress their Filipino fans with his Tagalog, greeting them with: “Magandang gabi! Nag-enjoy ba kayo? Kayo ang best! Mahal kita.”

Aside from their hyped-up performances, Sehun and Chanyeol got close to Filo EXO-Ls by playing games, whoch allowed them to share a piece of their personal side.

The first game was the “Catch-up Talk” where they shared a photo from their personal phone and then shared the story behind it.

Sehun and Chanyeol also proved their strong bond during the game “Can You Hear My Heart,” where they are asked the same question and they must answer at once. The duo got 4 out of 5 same answers.

The two also drew laughs when they ate Filipino delicacies pichi-pichi, biko, and sapin-sapin. Host Kring Kim said that they should just try it, but the two went on to quickly finish the rice cakes, noting how it tastes so good.

As an EXO-L myself, it was a delight (and quite a surprise) when Sehun danced some of the EXO’s hit songs like Love Shot, The Eve, Growl, and Love Me Right during the random play dance challenge—which made me become even more excited for their full-group comeback.

Additionally, Chanyeol’s performance of Hawak Kamay by Yeng Constantino did not only make the fans kilig, but also sparked nostalgia as they previously performed it as a group at the “Dream KPOP Fantasy” in 2013. He also performed the famous cover of Creep by Radiohead, to which the crowd gladly sang along.

Making the event more special, SeChan was surprised by Filo EXO-Ls with their own version of the 1 Billion Views music video.

Nearing the end of the fancon, the two expressed their desire to come back to the country.

"If given a chance, we want to come back to the Philippines this year, or soon,” Sehun said.

Chanyeol agreed and quipped that he might need to buy a house in the country.

"I promise to come back often, not just to perform but to tour around the Philippines,” he said.

Wrapping the fun night, SeChan performed We Young as one of their final songs.

Being with the Filo EXO-Ls for 11 years as part of the full group and almost four years as a sub-unit, Sehun and Chanyeol always made sure to make their fans feel special even with their simplest actions.

With Filo EXO-Ls resounding love and energy, the duo can surely always count on Filo EXO-Ls' “1 billion” love (or more!).
