Taylor Swift's alleged stalker was reportedly busted after attempting to break inside the singer's apartment in New York City on Saturday.

According to the New York Police Department, their officers were alerted by 911 about a 'disorderly person' wandering around Franklin Street.

“Upon arrival, [police] were informed that the individual attempted to open a door to a building at the location,” said the public information officer.

In a police report, the suspect had been loitering near the residence for several weeks before trespassing on the Manhattan apartment.

While the authority did not disclose the identity of the suspect, several neighborhood and onlookers claimed that they had been suspecting the man, unofficially named David, who attempted to enter the singer's premises.

“I first saw him around 1 p.m. — he went up to Taylor’s door,” the witnesses told Page Six.

“I’m not sure if he knocked or rang the doorbell,” another source added.

Several eyewitnesses told the outlet that the man had been asking the neighborhood for a few weeks where Taylor Swift resided around the place.

Another source revealed that he’s been “sleeping on the stoop, chain-smoking constantly, shouting, and generally making everyone uncomfortable.”

A resident in the same apartment claimed that her husband "first saw him around 1 p.m." as the stalker "went up to Taylor's door."

“When he arrived before Christmas, my husband asked what he was doing here and he said, ‘I want to see Taylor,'” she added.

Luckily, the 34-year-old singer was reportedly out of town as she was spotted recording music at Electric Lady studio in Manhattan two days before the incident.

The alleged stalker was taken into custody and did not even bother to deny the charges. Photos in some reports showed the suspect's identity wearing a navy jacket, tan bottoms, and an off-white hoodie while being handcuffed by the police.

Despite the incident, it was not the first time someone attempted to break into Taylor Swift's residence. In May 2023, another suspected stalker from Indiana named Mitchell Taebel showed up at the singer's Nashville home.
