TJ Monterde surprises KZ Tandingan with sweet dinner to celebrate their first meeting 10 years ago
Indeed, their love is to the stars and beyond.
OPM singer TJ Monterde has left social media users in awe after sharing photos from a surprise dinner he prepared for his wife, KZ Tandingan, on the 10th anniversary of their first meeting.
In a Facebook post on June 30, the Dating Tayo singer posted a screenshot of a TikTok post that features a “Star Map.”
“First photo is called a Star Map. KZ gave this to me a few years after naging kami. It's an actual map of the stars above, the night we met,” he captioned his post.
According to TJ, KZ at that time has no idea of what was going on when they started their dinner. TJ said she was so puzzled until she saw the table set up in the garden.
“A couple of weeks ago, may gig siya dito sa QC, isang private birthday event. Hinatid ko siya. Pag dating dun, walang birthday, walang event, but a private dinner for two. Sobrang puzzled nung mukha niya nung nakita niya yung table setup sa garden," TJ continued.
"Ang dami niyang tanong. Hindi niya alam kung anong meron, bakit, anong nangyayari?”
The singer went on to reveal to his wife that he organized the romantic dinner to celebrate the first day that they met—something that not all couples would do.
"Ha? Anong meron?" TJ quoted KZ as saying. "It's May 29, 2023," he replied.
"May 29, 2013, exactly 10 years ago—I met you," TJ concluded.
As of writing, the post has earned more than 64,000 reactions, 22,000 shares, and 2,200 comments.
“Ang sarap mainlove ng paulit ulit sa isang tao,” one user wrote.
“Every woman deserves this kind of treatment!” another one chided.
Others, meanwhile, praised the sweetness and genuine love of TJ toward his partner, as they say, “Sana all.”
TJ also announced in the comments section of his post that he'll be releasing the full video of their dinner on July 2.
KZ and TJ tied the knot on Aug. 28, 2020 in an intimate ceremony held at The Farm at San Benito in Lipa, Batangas. The couple exchanged wedding vows after being together for over five years.
