#FangirlGigs: Stray Kids’ two-night concert in Manila was a funfilled night with surprises that Filo Stays will never forget
Stray Kids’ gave back to their fans in the best way possible, filling Filo Stays’ night with a grand show.
The whole Mall of Asia Arena was definitely not a quiet place last March 11 and 12, with Filo Stays filling the arena with their loudest cheers for their eight favorite boys.
Stray Kids’ journey to Manila started off with a bumpy ride as its two members, Han and Seungmin, experienced symptoms of enteritis—an inflammation in the small intestine commonly caused by viral and bacterial infections. This has caused concerns from the fans that although excited for the concert, assured the group of their understanding in case Han and Seungmin will not be able to perform with the group.
On the first day, two members still graced the stage with their performance, having been able to serenade their fans while sitting.
The group’s last day in their Manila leg started hot and strong with their performance of Maniac, with Han and Seungmin finally joining the group all energetic and healthy.
The whole stage went ablaze as Stray Kids did a hot performance of their song Venom featuring the larger-than-life moving spider legs as part of the stage design.
The K-pop group didn’t stop as they made Filo Stays scream even louder, gifting the fans with an eight-member version of Bangchan and Hyunjin’s Red lights.
The group took a pause to greet their fans and impress them by introducing themselves in Filipino, and went on with their next song Easy.
Filo Stays sang along with Stray Kids for their song Lonely St. and then rocked the whole arena to Thunderous. This time, the group was accompanied by a live band that slowly emerged from the bottom of the stage. It was like that as it followed with an overly hyped performance of Domino and God’s Menu.
After an hour and a half of full-on blast performance, the group’s Bangchan, I.N, Lee Know, and Seungmin serenaded the arena with Waiting For Us. After their performance, Filo Stays serenaded the group, leaving Bangchan in awe.

One of the most memorable highlights of the night was when Bangchan sang a Filipino song, Ikaw by Yeng Constantino in an almost-perfect Filipino accent, which made the arena fill in kilig screams!

Honestly, it’s almost impossible to pick out a few highlights in Stray Kids’ almost four-hour show as they filled every minute with outstanding performances and meaningful interactions with fans. Not to mention the surprises both Stray Kids and Filo Stays have gifted each other—with the K-pop group giving their all from their singing and dancing to the whole production itself including the stage design and of course, the live band' and with Filo Stays who sang along and screamed with joy. In fact, Lee Know was so impressed with their singing that he said that Filo Stays should become an idol as well.

Nearing the end of the program, a short video tribute from Filo Stays was shown on the screen, detailing how much Stray Kids and their music have helped them overcome the global pandemic and personal endeavors.
In the last segment, the arena was filled with bittersweet emotions as it was the time to say goodbye to their favorite boys, but the group assured them that they will come back.
Concluding the best night, Bangchan reminded Filo Stays that they will always be there through their songs and that they will always be the “neverending Stray Kids.”
"You guys are always doing good, never doubt yourselves. Whenever you're feeling down, we're here to bring you guys back up... never be worried, ‘cause we're not going anywhere. Like I said earlier, we're neverending Stray Kids."
Stray Kids, other than their outstanding talents and swoony faces, will always be deemed special for their ability to resonate and assure their fans of the neverending love conveyed through their songs.
Surely, Stray Kids can always find their way home back to Filo Stays.
