K-pop superstar and GOT7 member BamBam is gearing up to stun Manila with his first-ever solo concert this September.

On Wednesday, July 12, the Thai singer revealed the schedule for his highly anticipated world tour "Area 52" on his personal Twitter account, with a stop at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City on September 22.

Details about ticket prices, seat plan, and selling dates are yet to be announced.

While this may be BamBam’s first solo concert in the Philippines, he is no stranger to the country. BamBam previously graced the Wavy Baby Music Festival in Cebu last January.

He also went here in July 2022 for the K-pop Masterz Ep. 1 concert and delighted fans with fan sign events in both Manila and Cebu.

After parting ways with JYP Entertainment along with his fellow GOT7 members in January 2021, BamBam found a new home at Abyss Company.

Since then, he has been making waves as a solo artist. In June 2021, he made his solo debut with the release of his first mini-album, riBBon. And just recently, in March of this year, he dropped his highly anticipated first full-length album, Sour & Sweet.

In the past year, six out of seven members have made their way to the Philippines for various shows and events. Youngjae was the first to host a fan sign event in Manila in July 2022, only to return a few months later in September for the K-pop Masterz Ep. 2 concert.

Jackson also joined the lineup, delivering an unforgettable performance at the K-pop Masterz Ep. 1 concert in July 2022 and later graced the stage at the "Head In The Clouds" festival in December 2022.

Yugyeom, on the other hand, captivated audiences with his solo show in August 2022 and made a triumphant return in January 2023 for the "Follow the Movement" concert alongside fellow AOMG artists.

JAY B and Jinyoung also had their moments to shine, holding solo shows in Manila in October 2022 and February 2023, respectively.

The only member of GOT7 yet to stage a solo event in the Philippines is Mark Tuan, leaving fans hopeful for a future performance from him.
