NCT Dream’s Chenle won't be joining the boy band's upcoming Manila and Singapore shows due to health concerns.

Concert organizer PULP Live World made the announcement on Thursday, April 27. “We regret to inform you that CHENLE will not be able to participate in NCT DREAM TOUR's The Dream Show 2: In a Dream in Manila and Singapore due to health conditions,” it read.

PULP also stated that the concert will push through as scheduled with the remaining six members—Mark, Haechan, Jaemin, Jeno, Jisung, and Renjun.

“We ask for your kind understanding. Thank you,” the local promoter concluded.

While his health condition was not specified in the announcement, SM Entertainment—the K-pop group's agency—previously shared on fan community platform Kwangya Club that Chenle is experiencing cold symptoms.

NCT Dream's Manila shows are slated on April 29 and 30 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The group last performed on the Philippine stage in 2022 in two K-pop festivals: Begin Again in May and I-POP U in October.

They first held their solo concert in the country in February 2020 dubbed The Dream Show: In a Dream.

Formed in 2016, NCT Dream is the third sub-unit of NCT. They're best known for their hit songs Hot Sauce, Dive Into You, Beatbox, and Life is Still Going On.
