Concert organizer Neuwave Events and Productions has revealed Apink as the first group to grace the Philippine stage for the Be You 3: The World Will Smile concert on July 23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Joining them in the lineup is CIX from the fourth generation. Further details about additional artists, ticket prices, and selling date/s are yet to be announced.

Be You joint concert series was first launched in the country in July 2022 which featured K-pop group Red Velvet, P-pop groups BINI and BGYO, and Lady Pipay with a special advocacy of celebrating people with special needs.

The second installment was held in December of the same year featuring K-pop artists BoA, EXO’s Chen and Xiumin, and TVXQ, where they put a spotlight on the elderly.

This year’s joint concert will pay tribute to the cleft lip and palate community.

Despite their advocacies, Neuwave clarified that the first two concerts were not for a cause or benefit shows.

"The events are only made for awareness and tribute both for the people with special needs and for the elderly,” they wrote in the statement, stressing that they “did not solicit or get any donations” from the previous events.

Apink is a five-member girl group composed of Yoon Bo-mi, Kim Nam-joo, Park Cho-rong, Jeong Eun-ji, and Oh Ha-young. They debuted in 2011 and are best known for their hit songs Mr. Chu, NoNoNo, and I’m So Sick, among others. They last visited the Philippines in 2016 for the MTV Music Evolution Manila 2016 held at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.
