Your “Wildest Dreams” are about to come true, Swifties! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) will be Taylor Swift’s next re-recorded album release, and you’ll be able to buy it on October 27.

The pop superstar made the announcement on Aug. 10 (Philippine time) via social media. Swift posted the album’s new cover on Instagram, which shows her smiling against a blue sky with white birds on the background.

“Surprise!! 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is on its way to you! The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th,” Swift wrote on social media. “To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind. But not for long!”

The pop superstar initially made the announcement during her concert at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles last Aug. 9. The show is the final leg of her "The Eras" tour in the United States.

After she sang I Know Places at the concert, fans started anticipating the announcement of her album's release. Swift has a long history of using hints and hidden messages in her songs and album releases. The date 8/9, meanwhile, uses the same numbers as that of her 1989 album.

Not only that, Aug. 9, 2023 is a significant date for Swift and her fans, as the day happens to be 8 years, 9 months, and 13 days since the singer-songwriter's first 1989 album came out.

In the midst of a legal struggle to claim ownership of her earlier tracks, Swift has begun re-recording her classic albums. She released "Taylor's Version" of the albums Fearless and Red in 2021. In 2022, her most recent album, Midnights, was released.

Swift is set to visit Asia and Europe as part of her "The Eras" tour.
