Jake Ejercito pays tribute to Jaclyn Jose: ‘Maraming salamat sa lahat, tita’
Jake Ejercito took to social media to honor Jaclyn Jose following her death.
In a tweet on Tuesday, March 5, the actor—who shares a child with his former partner, Jaclyn's daughter Andi Eigenmann—recalled how being a grandmother was a role that the veteran actress “cherished the most.”
“I surely wouldn’t have survived those early years of fatherhood without your guidance,” he wrote. “We rolled with the punches together—anything and everything just for Ellie.”
Jake said Jaclyn “left a void” in Ellie’s heart that they could only try to fill for the rest of their lives. “But I’ll give it my best shot and make sure she’ll be okay.”
“Maraming salamat sa lahat, tita,” he continued. “You were loved, especially by your Ellie.”
He followed his post with a screenshot of a text from Jaclyn. “Anak pa din ang turing ko sa’yo,” it read.

Jaclyn passed away due to myocardial infarction or heart attack on March 2. She is survived by her children Andi and Gwen Garimond.
Jake also attended Jaclyn’s wake at a memorial chapel in Quezon City, as seen in his and Ellie's Instagram stories.
Jake and Andi welcomed Ellie in November 2011. Andi confirmed their breakup in September 2014 and have since been following a co-parenting setup.
