The Super Stage by K-pop in Manila with Sandara Park is cancelled
Sorry folks, The Super Stage by K-pop in Manila has been canceled due to undisclosed reasons.
On July 25, events organizer OctoArts Entertainment announced on social media that the concert will no longer push through and that ticketholders will be refunded for their tickets.
“All purchased tickets will receive [a] full refund based on the ticketing policy,” the statement read. "Refunds will be processed at the point of purchase to the original payment method used for purchase.”
However, the reason for the cancellation of the upcoming event was not disclosed in the announcement.
The cancellation shocked fans as the organizer’s social media accounts actively promoted the event five days before the announcement.
K-pop artists included in the lineup are female acts Sandara Park, MAMAMOO+, Kep1er, and Lapillus.
Sandara was announced as part of the lineup last July 9. She recently took to Instagram to express her excitement over the news.
In a now-deleted post, she said: "Super excited to be back home and super duper excited to perform my b-side tracks for the 1st time~!!! nolza~!!!"
Tickets for the concert became available last June 3, and it was supposed to take place at the Mall of Asia Arena on August 11.
How to refund?
According to the organizers, for cash payment transactions in Metro Manila branches, ticketholders may register at https://smtickets.com/refund/ and choose the branch where they purchased the ticket and the preferred date of their refund.
Customers must bring their actual/physical tickets on the date of their refund.
A refund schedule is a must.
For those who made their transactions in their provincial branches, ticketholders may email [email protected] with the subject line Refund Request: The Super Stage by KPOP in Manila. SM Tickets will send instructions and requirements on how to refund.
Those who bought over-the-counter or online and used their credit or debit cards, and were able to redeem their physical tickets may also register at https://smtickets.com/refund/ and choose the branch where they purchased the ticket and the preferred date of their refund.
Tickets that were purchased online using their credit card or debit cards, but were unable to redeem the tickets may email a Claim Ticket Voucher to [email protected] with the subject line: Reversal Request: The Super Stage by KPOP in Manila.
It is noted that card reversals may take 30 to 60 days.
