From egg hunting to brunch, here are fun activities to do on Easter Sunday

Celebrating new life and beginnings isn’t only limited to birthdays and New Year celebrations, as egg-citing times can come on Easter Sunday.

Easter is usually reflected in the image of bunnies as it depicts fertility in the springtime and eggs that symbolize new life.  

Ahead are amusing and thrilling activities that you could participate in this Easter Sunday:   

BGC’s Easter Jungle Adventure   

Bonifacio Global City has assembled a lineup of activities that could surely be enjoyed by the whole family such as an easter egg hunt, jungle adventure games, and a magician and ventriloquist show. The blithesome celebrations will be taking place at 5th Ave. Bonifacio High Street from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on March 31.

Kids can also enjoy a mascot meet and greet and an all-trumpet musical play.

Guests can also get a chance to take home an Easter loot bag by presenting a single or two receipts from any merchants at Bonifacio High Street dated from March 18 to 27, 2024.  A minimum spend of P3,000 can accumulate 1 BHS Easter loot bag while a minimum spend of P6,000 can accumulate 2 BHS Easter loot bags.    

Glorietta’s Easter Olympic Village  

Glorrieta has assembled a five-day Easter event filled with fun and exciting activities that can be enjoyed by children ages 4 to 13 years old.

They have assembled tons of exciting and thrilling games to play including a shooting game, a soccer challenge, and a jumping skill test challenge.

Time slots per age range varies: 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. will be for participants ages 4 to 6 years old; 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. will be for participants ages 7 to 10; and 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. will be for 11 to 13 years old.   

To get a pass to Glorietta's Easter Olympic Village, present an accumulated single or a maximum of three purchased receipts from any Glorietta merchants worth P1,500 from March 26 to 31, 2024.   

Eggs-quisite easter at City of Dreams Manila

The City of Dreams curated egg-citing and egg-stravagant deals to celebrate Easter Sunday.  

DreamPlay’s Ultimate Easter Eggstravaganza 2024 brings the Ultimate Easter Pass for P2,999 for children to set foot in DreamWorks animation's magical world.  

This pass includes all access to the 12 attractions, an easter egg hunt, and a marvelous magic show at the mezzanine area.  

There will also be a star-studded parade featuring DreamWorks' dearest characters such as Shrek, Princess Fiona, Puss in Boots, and many more.  

Only 160 participants will be accommodated. Participants 5 years old and below are requested to be accompanied by parents who are also pass holders to participate in the Easter egg hunt.  

DreamPlay can be accessed by pass holders from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on March 31. Tickets are available through their website until March 29.  

In addition to the activities, City of Dreams is offering dining experiences including a Sunday brunch at Nobu Manila starting at P4,388 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The brunch is a fusion of an eat-all-you-can and a la carte menu of a variety of mouthful and umami dishes from different cuisines. From sushi and sashimi delights to savory and meaty steaks, to fresh and tasty seafood dishes, to green and healthy salads, to sweet desserts, and so much more.  

Children from 6 to 12 years old can enjoy the brunch for half the price while children 5 years old and below joined by an adult availing the promo are to enjoy the brunch for free.  

Easter is not complete without sweets and chocolates so you can get yours at Cafe Society at the City of Dreams Manila as they serve up carved chocolate bunnies, eggs, bears, ducks, and beehives that you can give as gifts to share with your loved ones.

To complete the experience, Easter-themed pastries are also available at the Cafe Society – from cakes to loaves, to cookies, and many more sweet treats. 

          

Kick back and relax for Easter Sunday

Aside from activities and events, Easter could also be celebrated in the form of relaxation at Nuwa Manila, Nobu Hotel, and Hyatt Regency Manila.

The new Gateway Mall 2 and Ali Mall are transformed into enchanting kingdoms from March 21 until March 31 as mall goers are treated to activities and shows such as Royal Parade Costume Contest, Egg Hunting Hour, The Kings Musical Show, and The Wizard’s Magic Potion Show. 

A claw machine, face painting, a bounce house, and crown coloring Easter activities will also take place.  

Easter Delights at Solaire Resort Entertainment City

Want an exquisite fine dining experience this Easter? Solaire’s Easter Delights got you covered!  

For Easter, Finestra will offer double-crusted Torta Pasqualina, a ribbon-like pappardelle pasta with amberjack fish and artichokes, and succulent roasted lamb leg.
