There's nothing that Taylor Swift fans wouldn't do to support their idol, but one fan seemed to have taken things too far when he caused a ruckus at a mall for stealing a large poster from the music icon's "Eras Tour" movie promotion.

A video that has since circulated on TikTok captured an unidentified man taking off with the life-sized cardboard poster, having a Guadalajara mall's security officer chasing after him down a staircase and escalator, with the crowd appearing to cheer him on.

Many fellow Swifties left hilarious comments and reactions to what transpired in the video, which has accumulated more than 19 million views since being posted.

"Getaway Car: Swiftie’s version," one user wrote, which is in reference to Taylor's 2018 song of the same name for her sixth studio album, Reputation.

Another one commented, "The way I would help him."

Others wrote, "Crying because that's actually something I would do."

However, in a surprising development, the man seemed to have stolen the large poster in order to give it to his girlfriend. In a separate TikTok video posted by a certain @xim.cgallardo, a woman could be seen walking into the frame before revealing a similar-looking poster from the original video.

"My boyfriend is so detailed," the translated caption of the uploader read.

Many fans put two and two together and concluded that the videos may actually be connected to each other. Instead of reacting negatively to the couple's actions, however, Swifties could not help but be in stitches at the entire situation.

"Romance isn’t dead," one user commented on X.

"If a man ever did this for me, I'd marry him to be honest," another one wrote.

Taylor's phenomenal "Eras Tour" film version hit theaters worldwide on Oct 13. It was recorded over the first three of six nights at SoFi Stadium in California. It is directed by Sam Wrench, the creative behind BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage, Billie Eilish Live at the O2, and Lizzo: Live in Concert.

The singer-songwriter announced The Eras Tour in November last year, describing it as a journey through the musical eras of her career thus far. The first leg ran from March 18 to Aug. 5 at stadiums across the US. It has scheduled shows in Singapore and Japan next year, among others.
