Rod Stewart to stage a concert in Manila this 2024

British rock and pop singer and songwriter Rod Stewart will be visiting the Philippines for a concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on March 13, 2024, local promoter Live Nation announced.

Rod is staging his "Live in Concert, One Last Time" and will make his much-awaited return to Asia next year, with shows in Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Singapore, Kaohsiung, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and the Philippines.

This comes after a year after he began his tour in cities across North and South America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand.

Tickets are priced from P3,500 to P23,000 and general sales will commence at noon on Nov. 17 via the SM Tickets. Buyers are only allowed a maximum of 6 tickets per transaction.

According to Live Nation, the Fanclub presale will begin on Nov. 15 from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., while LNPH presale will begin the following day from 10 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

VIP Package is also available at P23,000 which entitles the ticket holder of one premium reserved ticket in the first 11 rows, a dedicated bar queue, one complimentary welcome drink, a commemorative Rod Stewart VIP laminate and lanyard, and a photo opportunity in front of the VIP backdrop.

Rod last visited Asia more than a decade ago. In a press statement, he said: "It has been 15 years since my last Asian tour, which is far too long! I truly cannot wait to return with a setlist of all my biggest hits and one of the most extraordinary productions of my career. It's going to be quite a bash!"

Rod is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and is among the best-selling music artists of all time. He sang the classic hits Do You Think I'm Sexy, Forever Young, and Have I Told You Lately.

He holds the record for the longest unbroken run of any theater headliner in Las Vegas. According to the Ticketmaster website, his "Rod Stewart: The Hits" tour has been running for over 12 years and is scheduled to continue until Nov. 22.
