Ahead of the super long weekend, take yourself out on a date or hang out with friends and family at any one of these concerts, run with or cheer on runners from the sidelines, or take the little ones to create core memories with this local fast food store.
Check these events out if you want to skip the usual mall trip.
Be left breathless by The Corrs in Manila
The Irish family band famous for chart-topping hits Breathless and Runaway are holding their two-day show at the Araneta Coliseum on Oct. 21 and 22. They return to the country after more than two decades since their last show in 2001.
The four-sibling group took a hiatus in 2006 to focus on their personal lives and subsequently made a comeback in 2015. They released their sixth album, White Light in the same year.

Feel so enamored with Sam Smith in Manila
The English singer is coming to the Philippines to bring his “GLORIA” concert tour at the SM MOA Arena on Oct. 21. Like The Corrs, the five-time Grammy winner will visit his Filipino fans for the third time after his last concert in 2018 for “The Thrill of it All” tour.
The Stay With Me, Latch, and Unholy artist also just released their new song In the City with English singer-songwriter Charli XCX.

Howlers Manila Cosplay & Music Festival
A unique fusion of music and cosplay featuring OPM veteran Ely Buendia and bands Mayonnaise, Sunkissed Lola, and Silent Sanctuary as headliners is coming up at the Howlers Manila Cosplay & Music Festival this Oct. 21.
Along with 1st.One, Yno, Al James, Kiyo, Flow G, The Sexbomb Girls, YARA, KAIA, and DIONE will also be present at Circuit Makati. Other performers include O-side Mafia, Sesco, DJ Love, Ron Poe, Katsy Lee, Alvaro, Siangyoo, Mark Thompson, and Marc Marasigan.
In addition to performances, the festival offers several fun things to do.
For esports lovers, there will be live events, booths from top gaming firms, and opportunities to meet popular content creators and cosplayers. Ticket prices range from P500 for the silver section to P2,900 for the SVIP section, which includes front-row seats for the performance as well as extras like access to a VIP restroom, free entry after leaving, a designated VVIP area, an exclusive VVIP bar, a designated VIP smoking area, and unlimited access to the haunted house.
Get runnin’ at MNL City Run
Join the MNL City Run’s “EcoFest Run” on Oct. 22 at Central Park, Filinveset City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City. Slots for the 1K Dog Run, 3K, 5K, and 16K categories are already sold out, while the 10K and 21K are not!
There will also be raffle prizes for participating runners. Prizes include a Coros Pace 2 Premium GPS Sport Watch, an Oppo Band Watch, and exclusive accommodation at Azumi Boutique Hotel worth P20,000.
If you didn’t make it to the registration, join in on the sidelines as assembly for the 21K starts at 3:30 a.m., 4:00 a.m. for the 16K, 4:30 a.m. for the 10K, 5:00 a.m. for the 5K category, 5:15 a.m. for the 3K, and at 6:00 a.m. for the 1K Dog Run.
Jollibee’s Jollitown
Families are in for a treat as the Jollitown Kiddie Fair arrives at the SMX Convention Center on Oct. 22.
Children may participate in a variety of activities and games and eat tasty Jollibee food—from Popo's inflatables to Twirlie's Face Painting Booth. Yum's Claw Machine gives even another fantastic challenge with the chance to win additional prizes. Kids may enjoy fun activities, games, and even a dance with Jollibee himself at the all-day Jollibee Kids Party!
