Heads up, pyro lovers: Mall of Asia's fireworks show is kicking off this September
Looks like Christmas is indeed coming in early for pyro lovers, as a lifestyle mall in Pasay is out to light up the sky with its much-anticipated fireworks show early this September.
SM Mall of Asia announced on social media that it is kicking off the "ber" months with its annual Holiday Fireworks Spectacle which set to start on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m.
The upcoming show, which the lifestyle mall described to be "better than ever," will feature a "dazzling display of fireworks" synchronized to music. Like every year, it will take place at Central Park of the mall's outdoor amusement center, SM by the BAY.
After its launch on Sept. 10, Mall of Asia's Holiday Fireworks Spectacle will continue with a show every Friday from Sept. 15 until the end of December.
Below is the full list of shows, which will all begin at 7 in the evening.
- September 10, 15, 22, and 29
- October 6, 13, 20, and 27
- November 3, 10, 17, and 24
- December 1, 8, 15, 22, and 29
Mall of Asia has been the go-to spot for pyro lovers in Metro Manila as it also served as the home of the Philippine International Pyromusical Competition. The contest, previously dubbed the World Pyro Olympics, featured acts from the world's leading pyrotechnic performers.
It was held in 2005, 2007, and 2008, as well as 2010 to 2018. Mall of Asia followed suit with its own annual fireworks spectacle launched in 2020.
