Food roundup: McDo's Crispy Fish Fillet Sandwich, Taco Bell's Flaming Queso, and other new eats this March

Looking for new eats for your next food trip?

With the new month rolling in, new food offerings are coming to menu boards for you and your buddies to try, especially if you're looking for something different to snack on during your hangouts. 

To help you answer the age old question "San tayo kakain?", here are some of the best new food to try this March.

McDonald's Crispy Fish Fillet Sandwich

Satisfy your seafood cravings with McDonald’s new crispy catch with Crispy Fish Fillet sandwich.

This crispy catch features a crispy golden brown fish patty paired with melty cheese, tangy tartar sauce, and soft, toasty buns.

Available for a limited time only, the Crispy Fish Fillet Sandwich is paired with the peach and lychee flavors of the ice-cold Sprite X PeaChee Fruit Fizz and the fast food chain's classic fries. You can also level this up with Double Crispy Fish Fillet Sandwich.

You can grab this McDo's latest offering via Dine-In, Take-Out, Drive-Thru, and McDelivery.

Taco Bell’s new Flaming Queso line

Are you a cheese and jalapeno fan? Taco Bell has got you covered with its latest offer, the new Flaming Queso line.

These include the Flaming Grilled Stuft Quesorrito, made with perfectly seasoned Mexican-style ground beef and Mexican flavored rice, drizzled with nacho cheese sauce, and decked with diced onions, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, and jalapeno slices, all rolled in warm tortilla wrap.

Another option is the Flaming Quesodilla where three types of cheeses and jalapeno slices are all folded in a large tortilla wrap, and the Flaming Quesowrap Supreme which is made with perfectly seasoned Mexican-style ground beef, dollops of nacho cheese sauce, and sour cream, and a generous spoonful of diced onions, diced tomatoes, and jalapeno slices, all encased in a crunchy tortilla wrap.

These food items go for P195, P159, and P195, respectively.

You can also go for a full meal with a side of Nachos Sprinkle and a 12oz. serving of ice-cold soda for an additional P70.

Taco Bell's Flaming Queso line is only available until Monday, April 8.

Burger King’s Truffle Whopper

The one and only Truffle Whopper is making a comeback as a fan favorite from Burger King.

This signature flame-grilled patty, infused with the rich flavor of truffle and crowned with crispy onions, can be enjoyed even further with the Truffle Bundle, an iconic combination of Truffle Whopper, Ultimate Sidekick Thick-cut Fries with Truffle Dip, and Rootbeer Float.

This burger is available at any Burger King stores nationwide.

These include the iconic Big Bite, which has a P10 discount from Tender Juicy when paired with a Big Bite TJ hotdog with a red drink (GULP medium, C2 Apple 355ml, and Sting Strawberry 320ml) from February 14 to March 12.

Furthermore, customers can also expect big savings on other items such as Snail White Whipp Soap 100g, Absolut Vodka 700ml, and Selecta Pint Double Dutch 450ml until March 19.
