Attention, travelers!

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA), through the Facebook page of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), announced that there will be a number of scheduled electrical maintenance activities in its admin building as well as the airport's international cargo terminal, Terminals 1 and 2, and airfield.

The power interruptions will be conducted from Feb. 6 to March 7 "as part of the ongoing upgrade of NAIA's electrical systems."

"Minimal disruptions will occur in some areas but the management assures the riding public that critical systems used for passenger processing will remain operational," the MIAA noted, adding that they see "no significant impact of the scheduled works to flight operations."

According to the agency, they had a meeting with their service provider and Meralco prior to the move. They said it "led to a unified strategy to ensure uninterrupted flight and passenger movement during the subject period."
