Craving some peace and quiet, most especially away from people on Halloween? Then Shrek’s Swamp is the perfect place for you, giving you straight out of a fairytale vacation—all for free.

Airbnb announced on Tuesday, Sept. 26 that Shrek’s cozy home is now available for a night or two stay starting Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. (BST) and can accommodate up to three guests from Oct. 27 to 29 for a fee of £0.

Nestled in the lush green hills of Scottland Highlands, guests will have a secluded retreat surrounded by mud-laden, moss-covered, and murky watersthe perfect way to unwind and quick nature fix.

The whole place is a complete recreation of Shrek’s home from the movie, from its rustic interiors to its furniture in and outside the house.

To keep you excited, you and your loved ones are in for all the cozy and sweet treats—from parfaits and waffles in the morning, bonding over scary stories around a bonfire until midnight, or simply reading your favorite book with a relaxing ambiance of “earwax candlelight.”

You can also explore the nearby trails or opt for stargazing at night. And just like in a movie, you will have your own privacy inside Shrek’s trusted outhouse. Just take note that it is 20 meters away from the main house.

If you need more convincing to book a stay here, Donkey assures you the enjoyable solitude of a lifetime.

“Shrek’s Swamp is lovely. Just beautiful. The perfect place to entertain guests,” Donkey said in a press release.

“You know what I like about it? Everything. The overgrown landscaping, the modest interiors, the nice boulders, all of it. I can’t wait for guests to experience this muddy slice of paradise for themselves,” he continued.

To reiterate, you don’t have to spend much to experience this extraordinary vacation, besides your travel to and from Scotland.

Since Airbnb is allowing guests to stay in Shrek's humble yet whimsical abode for free, the real challenge takes place on how fast you can book your stay on its website.
