Good news, Pinoy foodies: McDonald’s large fries are back!

The popular fast food restaurant announced the news on Facebook on Friday, Oct. 7, with a teaser that said a familiar line from servers that we all missed for quite some time: “Would you like some large fries with that?”

In April this year, McDo PH temporarily stopped offering the beloved item in big red fry boxes due to the potato shortage worldwide. “The supply of our World Famous Fries is limited because of the global freight crisis,” the company wrote on Facebook, adding that they could only serve regular fries at the time.

The Washington Post cited in a January 2022 report that the potato shortage could be a result of a myriad of factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic as well as “bad weather, blights, or labor disputes.”

Mcdo large fries are now available in all its branches in the Philippines as well as online platforms like McDelivery PH, GrabFood, and Foodpanda for only P95. Enjoy!
